Firefly t-shirts - Jaynes Blue sun

Yep, sadly, Fox has been dropping the hammer with C&D letters for alot of the fan made shirt manufacturers. Blue Sun Shirts was the best, and the first to get shut down.

Thanks Fox. :angry

I thought Universal was the one doing the C&Ds...

Nonetheless, I agree with your sentiment because of Fox dropping Firefly after a season, among other things.

I concur.

Might have been both, but I know Blue Sun Shirts got a letter from Fox...

Let me say this... I don't care if Fox or Universal shuts down the fan made stuff, as long as THEY turn around and make it for us. I will gladly support Firefly/Serenity if there is officially licensed merch available.

Of course, there was the "Browncoat" shirt they sold @ Hot Topic that said "Browncoat" on one side, and had the gorramn Alliance star logo on the other. Nice....weenies who put that one together. :lol

Agreed. The only benefit I see of fan-made over licensed (if licensed was available) would be the lack of copyright text, which is usually not as subtle as I'd like.

That and knowing the studios they'd frak up and put the wrong gorram kanji for "blue" on it.

So glad I have the ones from my run :)

Sorry for chiming in a little late here,

but I'd love to have a Blue Sun t-shirt.... except the size I wear is a "small" and Blue Moon is only listing sizes medium through XL.

The other site is quite a bit more in terms of shipping and the shirt price... do you think I could grab a medium and shrink it down (would that even work?) ?

Yeah I saw that....

I wasn't sure. The drop box still has "small" there, but in the item description he only mentions sizes medium through XL. Ambiguity. :(

EDIT: Nevermind.. small was just removed :(

If you click on where it lists the size, they have small. Also, is khaki the accurate color?
[/b]

Yes. Granted, khaki means different things to different people, but the shirt pictured is the correct color.

I don't particularly care for the graphic though, but that's probably because I'm biased. I actually traced mine over screencaps of the logo, and overlaid it on Jayne screencaps for comparison to make sure it was dead on and it was. The "Blue" kanji is way too rounded at the bottom right.
