That is great work! Would love to see more pics of the Asari, do you have a separate thread for it?

The Asari (and Mordin) were done by two of my friends at the same time, not by me. The Mordin was pulled and painted and I'll have the finished pics of it and her costume after PAX East this weekend.

Unfortunately the Asari sculpt is still sitting, encased in plaster, on my shelf. My friend ended up purchasing a latex pull from someone else and I don't know if she's going to end up casting it since she has that one now. It had so many tricky undercuts that removing it from the shell is going to be really difficult.

So here's some pics of the full piece together. ONE CAVEAT: This was my very first time working with latex, and I vastly underestimated how much it would shrink. So while the mask was made to my friend's dimensions, it ended up being pretty tight on his head.

He's almost 6'2", however, and his head is equally large. The mask would fit PERFECTLY on someone a bit smaller, and did fit wonderfully on me. I'm 5'8". (So if you're looking in the junkyard, this is something to keep in mind. I'll post exact specifics there tonight.)

I'm going to do some patch work on the back to make this fit better on my friend, and that will be done before Dragoncon this fall. I'm also going to make a latex shoulders/chest so we're not using the green piece of fabric above his chestpiece (and it won't wrinkle like it is doing here).

Thanks. Mordin was sculpted and built by my partner, Reith. Lots, lots more pictures of her wearing him (and of Thane.. and of me in Chakwas!) on our site.
