If you are like me and have not found the bible at a price/condition that you want...here is what I did as a temporary measure, so I could enjoy it on display.



I got one of the fake book boxes from Hobby Lobby. I could never find any reasonable metal book corners, so I made my own. I got the word TARDIS spelled in Gallifreyan from the internet, and modified the image into a corner shape. I printed the corners out on gold foil labels, and stuck them on. My positioning wasn't the greatest, but I still like the overall look. Here are the corners in case someone else wants to use them.

They show up on eBay now and then but when they do they go for about £200 or are in not the best condition and still cost alot. I've been looking for ages think I mite do my own style one myself now.

I was just watching one on e-bay, was at work when it ended but went for £104 though shipping on top of that was almost half the cost of the book. Looked to be in decent shape too.

Shame. I still need to get some of the binding restored, but I'm itching to make this a truly great display after seeing the OG book at the Rubbertoe workshop.
