Thanks, Keiko! I'm glad I could be of assistance while you and your wife work on yours. I'm really anxious about the paint job on the base of Boba's Slave 1... I've been studying the reference material and coming up with a game plan as to how to approach it. But I think that doing it in layers and taking my time to get it right will be the best approach.

I'm contemplating the chipped paint too. I've seen it done with some sort of latex mask applied with an irregularly shaped sponge, but I'm really not sure how to proceed. Really, it's my wife's problem as the look is more prevalent on Boba's ship than Jango's.

Yeah, Jango's is more airbrushing than chipping and more of a 'clean' look when it comes to Slave 1's. Boba's is certainly given the worn look treatment. I have an idea on how to proceed with mimicking the look of the studio model. I'll certainly share it when I start that section of this build.
