Final Vader Costume

Thrawn

Well, I suppose this is the FINAL for my costume, the only thing left is adding new rockers to the chestbox. These are pics taken at VCON 31, the first time id had the whole thing on at once (and these pics were taken literally 10 seconds after I stepped off the elevator, so id been wearing it about 4 minutes.). Ive since learned how to put the pants on right so they are not baggy, and ive slit my boots up the back and put laces on so the pants stay tight, so pay the bagginess no mind :)

Thrawn, that looks awesome. You might wanna place your belt lower, though. It should ideally sit right on top of the cod piece, without any space between them.

Always nice to see another Vader come together. :)

Where did you get the bodysuit? Who's the maker?

nice padme pic chris lol

That looks great Thrawn...nice proportions overall. I agree about lowering the belt a tad but more importantly I would place the chestbox lower so it's centered between the armor and belt. Must be a great feeling to have it all together at last. But of course as mentioned there is the never-ending task of tweaking it with improvements :p.

:cheers

If you don't mind...these pics will go directly into the Vader reference DVD :).

Im looking forward to that DVD :)
Since these pics ive discovered that the shoulders on my armor are flat for some reason, got warped coming out of the mold. Luckily the armor is made out of that black brush on stuff you see them using in ROTS on the Vader helmet, so I heated it up in boiling water and it went back into the proper sloped shoulder shape on its own :)
The bodysuit was made by Maia on the Sith Training Temple, its a beautiful piece of work :)
It was completed the night before the Con, I met her the next day and received it, put it on for the first time, put on the rest of it, and hopped in the elevator. (the elevator ride down with 8 little girls was.... interesting, all had camera phones out real fast.).
