Filling in Seams

I've used "glazing putty" with a LOT of success. Its like a softer bondo in a tube... no mixing. You can get it in an auto parts store.

I've got some of that. Bondo glazing & spot putty in a tube. Rust red color and very liquidy. Steve Neill uses it a lot; in fact, that's where I got the idea. Haven't used it much as it's too runny for a lot of the smallerl scale stuff I've been building and takes longer to dry than the Tamiya Basic type putty I prefer. But I could see using it on larger builds.

Maybe I need to squeese and knead it inside the tube to get it to mix then. Because when I first squeezed some out it was like liquid.

Milliput! Can't belive I'm the only one using that?! Best stuff ever, works for everything. Mixed with water it clears fine scratches. Directly from the pack it fills large gaps. I even sculpt with it. One pack lasts forever too!

I've used liquid paper with good results to fill fine scratches.

I like to run CA down a seam sometimes, then wipe the residue off with a cotton bud, hit it with accelerator, then I lightly sand and use a product similar to Bondo glazing putty over it and gently blend it into the surface, cure, sand...a few hits of filler primer and that's it. Seam gone.

I've built loads of models over the years & I could never figure out how to loose seams properly.
I bought myself the 1/32 Tamiya F14 (a kit I'd wanted for a long time) & I decided that with this one I wanted to make a little more effort.
I found an article on building this kit online & the guy did a beautiful job, I believe it was displayed at Tamiya head quarters.
He used Super glue for the seams left where the parts joined together & then rescribed a new line right next to the original.
So I thought I'd give it a go:

Where I glued the nose cone, the steps & the lower canopy I used the Super glue to fill the seam.

I've got to say I'm more than pleased with the results & its so easy
Although in my case I need to get a little better at scribing
