I got the dims pretty much figured out.

The texture isn't shown for the top, but it'll be there on the master.

Now to build the body and start prototyping electronics.

I think I'll start my own build thread for it once I get started (Im pretty much hijacked the heck out of this thread)

Hey, this is an old post, but for any nerds out there like me, I think I've figured out, not *which* board was used as a donor, but what kind.

It looks like a (cut down, and stripped) MFM hard drive controller board. MFM drives were unique in that they used two different cables -- one to send commands, and one to transfer the data, and those cables had 20 and 34 pins, respectively. They were also common many years ago when board traces were larger and boards still came in "tan" and not the more common green. The WDW *could* stand for "Western Digital Winchester".
