HAHAH MOOSE if worse came to worse and i did not get a sword down i was thinking of just lugging around some wheels of cheese ... and me and my buddy were going to make a bag of real turkey legs to gnaw on ....see how many people avoid us quickly....... @ wolfie .. yes i love acrylic but for this project , it is very rubbery and harder to pull off the illusion that it could be metal , with a high shine gloss you are going to pick up light quick , it has a very solid metal like finish , that is why i picked up paints you would formally use on model cars.. you know if you were a normal ..hobbyist lol

I'm watching to see how the other helmet comes out and I do not believe you have told us where you got the horns from.

oh ! lol they were these cool horns i found in a rag shop but needed a whole ton of work ... sanding putty , a new paint job , the whole works but i really liked the way they looked and they are thick but hollow ... the rest of the mask is so heavy that if i sculpted horns i would probably fall down... ..qui it would be nice to see you!

Is it just me or are there more conventions than ever this year? There are 12 in my state and last year there was 1.

what state are you in cal? i think it depends , conventions are big around the city areas , pax has been going on for a long time dude so has comic con, but for some reason the whole videogames , and comic book things EXPLODED into the main stream , lately they are pretty much at their peak and since there is such a high demand + success rate more of them are popping up ...... even four years ago ... comic con in ny was not even half of the javits center ..... i was one female out of 4 and the entire fanbase were all the people that were **** on for years for being fans of this stuff ..... now this stuff attracts everyone !! even the people that would think i was weird for having star trek books in my damn school locker lol.... as great as that is for the success of conventions .... in my personal opinion i feel like they are losing their fun .... the past two ny comic cons opposed to the ones i have been to years ago were not nearly as amazing or fun ... way less cool hand outs ...less amazing statues , visuals in general ... an obscene amount of cosplay kids opposed to fantastic costume builders with highly impressive i just jumped out of your favorite movie type of costume , lol and i admit ill dress up like a fool but you will see me running to stands buying **** ... eating hotdog ..... laying down on the floor dieing in place from way too much movement .... not just there standing outside feeding off of human attention like a plant photosynthesizing in the sun ..... times have changed , i really do not bother with anime cons , furries creep me out .... maybe one day ill get myself an animal control costume and walk into one with a dog snare ...see how fast i get booted ..... but yea .. i keep seeing people post about cons i never even heard of with all crazy names ..

I know, it's cool and annoying at the same time. Because 10 years ago these same people made fun of me for it, now it's cool. I live in no-where Kentucky and hate it, but am in Art school in Berea. It might be that they didn't have them, I just didn't hear about them. Maybe they have more money for ads, lol I don't know.

I wish I could say I have grown out of comics, but that would be a dirty lie. I just don't frequent the stores on a weekly basis like I did in my twenties. Hellooooo graphic novels! They are like a compendium of story arcs and I much prefer them.

i do not read new anything qui ....in fact when i do go out and look ....NOTHING grabs my interest , i am much happy delving into the prehistoric ones lmao ...the only writer i will always grab off the shelf no matter what is garth ennis ... he can write about a horse made of poop on a mission to destroy the human race.... and ill probably love it
