Female Judge build

Beautiful job!
I just got the itch to start doing this stuff after seeing the recent Dredd film myself. Props to you for building this the way you did (no pun intended, ha! )!
Couple of questions:
1) Did you learn to work on EVA foam from here on the forums? This will be my first go into this arena, so I'm just curious.
2) Great job on the badge! (not really a question, but just admiring your work again)
3) Will you be attending any Cons since there will apparently be a large Judge contingent at them?
4) Derived from #2, did you learn how to distress (via paint) from the forums as well, or previous knowledge?

I didn't learn here on the RPF, actually, though this is an AMAZING place to learn some tricks (go check out some Iron Man projects for example)

Yep, but I'm in Maine so it'll mostly be little local stuff. A group I'm a member of also gets to do all sorts of fun costume stuff for Free Comic Book day up here, so I'll be dispensing the law at those events as well. I'm trying to shove in as many excuses as I can to wear this costume over the next two years, because I suspect it'll only really be relevant for that amount of time with the general public--it'll be fine pretty much indefinitely for the con crowd, though.
Previous knowledge. I learned most of my tricks from the Mandalorian Mercs, where I'm known as Arden Fisk--I'm the quartermaster for the club.

I just caught that you were in New England. There are quite a few judges brewing in MegNorth! We've got at least 5 others in progress that I know of. I suspect the fall convention season will be packed with Dredd-goodness!

I wonder if you can fit a smartphone in the gauntlet? Then you can have a custom wallpaper showing some perps from the movie!

First 95% test fitting today! I'm still missing the lawgiver (and holster), a grenade for the front belt holster, the quik-cuffs, and the Boker knife. I bought a set of rubber shoulders from Decky and while the sculpt is GREAT they are freakin HUGE. I trimmed off all the edging and they still are monstrous on me, so I'm looking to change them out eventually. They'll do for now, though. Knees and elbows are simple tactical ones with foam pads glued on, and I added the toe caps (in foam) to the boots. I'm pretty happy with it for now!
