Here's mine. I wanted something close but not exact to the movie costume.

The undermask is from a guy name Rusted Dowg on the Frightsuff.com forums as well as the hockey mask. Everything else I pieced together and weathered myself. I'm still looking for the right jacket though.

There's a couple of reference shots at the bottom.

I briefly talked about it on the Frightstuff forums. Mostly, it's a lot of shredding with a serrated knife and using sandpaper. I then use acrylic paints and washes to get the weathering.

Here's the blue undershirt and sweater. In the movie he wears a grey sweater that is of a light material.

I have a question for you guys ... what do you use for the pants?

If you look closely at those reference shots you'll see that there's a sort of knit type of thing going on there so they aren't your run of the mill slacks.

I used a pair of Old Navy's fleece pants on my display because it has a similar sort of weaving on it (still have to cut it up attack it with some Fuller's Earth :)). But what did you use?

Also, what kind of boots did he wear in the film. Still haven't figured that out yet ... looks like lifts on them?

Man, I love your jacket!

The boots that he wears are Danners with an extra piece of rubber sandwiched between and dark blue shoe laces.

As for the pants; I went with a pair that was like the Old Navy pair that you are talking about (I have a pair that I wear around the house). The pair that I wear with the costume are actually female pants but I can't remember the brand. I would have to get them out of the attic. They were the closest that I could find.

I have talked to someone that has actually seen and felt the real ones and he said that they are like lounge pants. Probably similiar to the Old Navy ones.

Here are my boots and you can sort of see the pants material.

Wow! Great shots guys! I have to agree with the jacket. Very nice Simmon. Care to sher you weathering techniques? Looks very authentic. Where did you get your hock and undermask? Or is that a bust?

Speaking of fuller's earth. I better get some. I need it for my Indiana Jones anyway LOL

I'll start looking for the shoes right now LOL

As for the pants...Mmm...look like and overly large pair of fleece sweatpnats to me LOL

i used a carhart work jacket from a thrift store, shredded it up and painted it with a variety of brown spray paints. i mixed up an acrylic paint batch that looked like dried blood and finger painted some on it... covered my hands in it and grabbed the coat like i was grabbing my killer.

the straps on the mask there were temporary... i've replaced them with better leather straps with the proper buckles / o ring / rivets.

the machete was from ebay... $12 or so. it came black, so i sanded it down to silver, ground the edge off, and sculpted the hand guard bit at the handle.

the weathering on the blade was done with spray paint... i laid down fairly heavy layers of brown, grey and black, then sort of daubed / sponged it off with a rag. this left a thick, messy texture to it.

the handle was weathered with more of the same, then more fake dried blood. i covered my hand in the paint and grabbed the handle.

the hood i'm using is actually the rubies licensed one. i padded the inside with foam to bulk it up / make it keep its shape, and added some velcro to the back to keep the seam closed. oh, and i cut the eyes out entirely. i put the rubber and hockey masks on then had someone draw a line with a sharpie on the mask where the eye holes on the hock were. i then cut a bit beyond that.

my grey sweater has been torn up a bit more. i haven't done much weathering to the pants yet... they are dickies work pants that i had from my old jason halloween costume.

it's coming along... still a lot to do :)
