Favorite Movie/TV Car?

See,

Threads like this are the reason it would be nice to have a replica movie/tv car sub forum.

Just look at how many pages of greatness there are! LOL.

:thumbsup

This one was NEVER released in 1:18, not even a s generic. Matchbox did the hardtop version, but never the targa.

I'd think it'd be a slam-dunk to do a licensed M:pI release of this car.

You're referring to the Ferrari 308 GTS? I have a Maisto 1:18 of it, cost a pretty penny too. About $70 for the thing.

You can find them on Ebay. It's one of my favorite Ferrari's... had to have it.

As for the Hardcastle & McCormick car, it's a Bradley GT. I had one in very poor shape not too long ago. VW kit car based on the Karmann Ghia frame. Mine had a Porsche 914-6 drive train bolted into it.

I believe the Hardcastle car was a Manta on a VW chassis., not a Bradley GT. The Bradley GT looks like a cross between a VW and a Delorean. Someone I knew owned the original Hardcastle car, Definitly not a Bradley.

What year does it represent? And does it have the targa top, or hard top?

Here's another car...

1938 Opel Olympia

It's from Flammen & Citronen.
Not sure how many have seen this movie. I thought it was great and highly recommend it.

BMW Z8- The World is Not Enough
Dodge Stealth Twin Turbo - BANDIT (made for TV remake, really cheesy! LOL!)
Ferrari 328GTS - Beverly Hills Cop II
Camaro - Transformers
Ferrari F355- Goldeneye

Threads like this are great. It becomes less about your actual favorite and more about listing all the great cars no one has mentioned yet.

Well, my all-time favorite has to be Herbie, The Love Bug. I always thought I was going to have one when I grew up. I even made my own custom Hotwheels Herbie as a kid.

But this one is one of my all-time favorites, too, and has not been mentioned yet - The Monkeemobile!

(And the Ecto-1 and BTTF Delorian go without saying :))

I agree with Knightrider, too bad there isn't a section devoted to film cars. I tell all that don't have one, it's like no other prop you can imagine because it's alive. A devoted section would not only draw film car enthusiasts from this forum, but other car enthusiasts from everywhere, and then the exposure to the costuming, and other forums would increase. It would be a win/win situation. should do it.

I found a Quatttrovalve 308 on eBay, but it had the black interior and non-removable, red-painted hardtop. Inaccurate to the Magnum cars. :unsure

Hi there, the Coyote was based on the Mclaren M6 GT. The Manta Montage I understand was the car body was used to make the Coyote, though marauder cars M6GT replica would have been a better choice as for the front headlight buckets and lens covers. The Bradley GT was definitly not used for the Coyote though...

Hi guys and gals,
There are so many that are favs for one reason or another! But if I had to choose I would have to say...

TV...1966 Batmobile
Film...Austin Martin DB5, first seen in Goldfinger

I realize these have been mentioned by other members but they are both IMHO the BEST and most iconic vehicles ever shown on the small and large screen!

Best to all, Petseal
