Favorite Movie/TV Car?

I have two rather odd faves.. First, the truck from Damnation Alley:

..which I loved as a kid.

Second, the truck from 'Spacehunter - Adventures in the Forbidden Zone':

I love Jim Burns's artwork and he's painted some great futuristic cars. This is the closest I've seen anyone get to building a real world example in his style.

Is that where that was from. Last time I saw that vehicle is was the Juggernaught in the season 4 premier of Knight Rider.

Here it is with the cage and battering ram in place. Looks like they tinted the windows too.

Jeebers - that looks awful. I guess there's some logic in the Kubrick mantra 'destroy everything after the shoot'. lol

My number one, all-time favorite, if-I-won-lotto-this-is-what-I'd-buy car:
The Mach 5.
mach-5.jpg

The one pictured on top is from the movie, the one on the bottom is, I believe, a modded Corvette made to resemble the one from the cartoon.
Ideally, I'd like a replica of the cartoon version, but more accurate than the one pictured here. But any of them would be awesome to own!

My number two car:
The Lotus Super 7 used in the 1960s TV show The Prisoner.

Also a favorite, even more than the Lotus, but not exactly a car:
Kaneda's bike, from Akira.

I completely forgot about Frankenstein.

Although I'm pretty sure I'd never want to be seen driving a replica of this one around.

Ah... No one picked Schlep car or Wonder Bug... :cry

And what ever happened to these fine young actors?

That car (with the same paint job) appeared in some early episodes of Dukes Of Hazard.

My picks:

Movies:
1989 Batmobile
Tumbler
007's Aston Martin (Sean Connery era)
Bumblebee as a 1976 Chevrolet Camaro (liked him as a beaten up car instead of something that looked like he came right off the showroom floor)

TV:
Dean's 1967 Chevrolet Impala from Supernatural
The Black Beauty
A-Team Van
KITT
General Lee
1966 Batmobile

Cartoons:
Mach 5 from Speed Racer (It was my favorite show when I was 5. Not so much now, but I still get nostalgic seeing the car.)

Comics:
Punisher Battle Van
S.H.I.E.L.D. Flying Car

Soory my first post is a complaint or whatever, but I had to jump on this.

You have proof it was in DoH? Never. Sorry. Nor were any 1974 Gran Torino's EVER used. The 74 had a rounded grill, and a higher rear bumper with the tail lights inside the bumper itself. I've owned 5 ('75, '77 (NOT the same body at all) and ONLY the 1975/1976 had that body style. ) of them. "Hutch" called it a Stiped Tomato, not "Starsky", and Mr. Glaser LOVED that car, mainly because it could do/handle every bit of the hard driving seen in the show. I have personnal experience and all...

LOL! I know Spencer, the guy who build the car model in this photo. We used to do a lot of model-related talk a few years back. I even suggested the idea of applying the paint scheme of the Vipers from "Battlestar Galactica" (this was back before I got into the RIS BSG) and putting it on a model for a Dodge Viper (since it seems rather appropriate).

Very nice collection PHArchivist
I do have a few critiques on your love bug seen here;
attachment.php

I am assuming that this model is meant to represent the car from the original "the Love Bug" from 1968 since it has the original lighter blue stripe and the racing stripes do not extend down the front valance, but stop at the edge of the hood.
You also have the correct color-matched running boards and round rear view mirror.
Ok, having established that, Here are my issues;

1. The interior should be gray, not white and should have a roll-bar.
inside_rear_headliner%230011.jpg

2. The front turn signal lenses are not amber, but clear. Also, the font in the "Gumball" is incorrect, but It's what came with the kit, so I'll let it slide ;)

The collection is very impressive and i am jealous of course, that's why I had to take a jab at your Herbie.

Oh, my bad
I thought it was the Polar Lights kit.
I didn't even think about the PL being 1/25th

I am a big Herbie fan and a also a VW Beetle nut.
Eventually I'll have another bug & I am seriously contemplating the Herbie mod.
