Favorite Movie/TV Car?

^ A good example that classic designs never go out of style.

So true! Hell, I finally realized for myself that I tend to love classic designs. Most cars I have owned in recent years are iterations of 50+-year-old designs (corvette, mini cooper, land rover disco, and currently a jeep wrangler for instance)

Also speaks to why so many people pick musclecars and ecto-1 :)

I second the '67 Impala. So very much.

Also, the Keaton-era Batmobile, especially from Batman Returns. I used to dream about it as a kid...

I always thought this was a hot car!

I agree. I got to see that car in person at an autoshow. Not some stunt car, the original that had the opening rear 'launcher' just under the rear spoiler and on the sides as well! I remember drooling over that car for about 20mins.

My #1 fav:

Probably this one, it's my daughter's favorite and I tend to agree, but I reserve the right to change my mind :lol

I love a lot of the cars that have been posted in this thread, but these two take the cake for me. I've had a thing for the first one since I was about 3...literally. :love

1. The California Kid

From the 1974 made-for-TV movie starring a young Martin Sheen. Car was built by Pete Chapouris and was featured on the cover of Rod & Custom Magazine in 1974 (September, I believe) along with his buddy Jake's '34 Coupe.

2. Milner's Deuce from American Graffiti

Where were you in '62? :cool Beautiful chopped 32' Ford 5-window coupe with bobbed rear fenders and motorcycle front fenders. Many clones have been made over the years. Raced against a '55 Chevy driven by Bob Falfa (Harrison Ford) on Paradise Road to the tune of Green Onions by Booker T & the MGs.

How about the Dip-Mobile from Who Framed Roger Rabbit? I hated to see this thing rot away at WDW in Florida...

Doody That's a great article. In Fact Those same three Batmobiles will be featured at The Carl Casper's Custom Auto and Louisville New Car Show next weekend. Along with The A-Team Van, Both Knight Riders, The General Lee with Bo Duke, Fonzie's Motor Cycle from Happy Days and The Original Big Foot Monster Truck. The Show is Celebrating it's 50th Anniversary!
