Favorite James Bond Soundtracks?

Not a whole sound track.. Just song.. Paul MacCartney's Live And Let Die..

Have to agree. Best parts of that movie were the song and Jane.

Also love Guns and Roses cover.

Cheers

You Only Live Twice... just for the song... which was used on the season finale of Mad Men... and was AWESOME!

Was never a fan of the theme but the orchestral version of the song that they use in the film when Bond is fighting at the docks is awesome. :thumbsup

Agree, very nice soundtrack, that was season finale already? I just saw the last 30 minutes :cry

To me, the best one is The spy who loved me-Nobody does it better, and Casino Royale by Burt.

I like almost all the soundtrack of JB, except Daniel Craig's. Just don't know why.

I tried to find the music background on Living daylights when MI6 hideout was attacked by the milkman, that was very nice too. The closest one I had is Hercules takes off.

Complete soundtrack? I don't know. But the best Bond song ever is "For Your Eyes Only" sung by Sheena Easton.

Sorry a bit OOT.

If everybody's know the name,then it wouldn't be a secret anymore, isn't?
Which really bothers me a lot, when the villain said something like: "So you're James Bond, the secret agent with double 0s". Oh hell, it supposed to be torturing first, then: "So you want me to talk?" - "No, I want you to die,Mr. Bond (oops)"

In die another day, after JB (Brosnan) recovered in HK, M said that he was no use, a captured agent, covers were blown. Then he got replaced by Craig in the next movie. Hmmm, purely accidental?

....and they make a music out of it :lol.

Personal favourites are FRWL, Goldfinger, OHMSS, AVTAK, and LD

Hi OB,
Your comment on OHMSS made me curious.
Never heard OHMSS soundtrack before, and never watched the movie (except once on accidental flipping I saw the end of the movie, like last 10 minutes).

So I just heard "We have all the time in the world".
I like Louis Armstrong, I like the melody, I just can't relate this to James Bond. :facepalm

Is it me? Or maybe I should watch the movie.

The instrumental score is okay, I think I heard it in other Connery movie? DAF?

Wat?? No love for Moonraker? Yeah its silly disco like jam, but it's a fun little song. Just think about roller skating with that jam going.

Anyway other great ones are Live n let die, Casino Royle ( Chris got hosed for the ocsar), Gold finger, Goldeneye ( tina Turner)

A View to a Kill.

Hey, it was the 80's...don't judge me! I think I was in fourth or fifth grade. I went to a friends pool party. There was a girl there that was awesome, and oh and that song was playing on the radio.

Oh, also Live and Let Die. That is an awesome song.

Dude... Watch the movie! Definitely in the top 5 of all Bond films. And no, the music wasn't used in any other film. When you watch it you'll see how fitting "We have all the time in the world" is.

For most of the films he isn't known until the villain has his folks do some research into this guy that's pestering him. Particularly with Goldfinger half his speech is about how his people discovered Bond's identity.

Things fall apart a bit in DAF where Tiffany Chase knows who Bond is as well in a few other films but in general the reason he's able to tell his name so freely is because nobody knows it.
