James Bond 50th Anniversary Paper Prop Challenge - COMPLETED

Re: James Bond 50th Anniversary Paper Prop Challenge

That's what I intended when I started this, I can't see the point in reproducing something that someone else has already done (and probably better than what I can do), I would rather bring something new to the table.

My last suggestion is the hardest, one and only card from casino royale. Box design can be seen in attachment

Re: James Bond 50th Anniversary Paper Prop Challenge

Most of the Props I have produced so far are simply print and cut out, with very little assembly required.

How would people feel about something that needs a bit more assembly?

What I have in mind is the Cigarette Pack from Man with the Golden Gun.

Hopefully with insert for Ammo.

Sounds great!
I have an empty packet of cigarettes I was given to use in making a prop! I haven't gotten around to figuring it out yet so this would help with that one too.
Thanks again for sharing your work, it is greatly appreciated!

Re: James Bond 50th Anniversary Paper Prop Challenge

Cigarette Pack is done, I have no idea how well it will assemble (can't print out to check), but if my calculations are correct it should work.

If anyone assembles it, please post pics I would love to see how it turns out, actually I would love to see any of these props made up.

Re: James Bond 50th Anniversary Paper Prop Challenge

I have had a go at cleaning up the 1969 Playboy Cover from "On Her Majesties Secret Service" if anyone is interested, not sure if I will count this as one of my props though.

There's a ton of them on ebay for pretty cheap. I got one for my Bond collection a while back.

Re: James Bond 50th Anniversary Paper Prop Challenge

When I did the Strangways receipt I also had a look at the Quarrel Photo, I've been tinkering with it on and off for a while now.

This is what I have so far, not sure if I can do much more with the images I have.

Re: James Bond 50th Anniversary Paper Prop Challenge

Wow man, such cool stuff for a 007 display!

Thanks for doing this, i know it's been said a million times haha, but for those of us that can't it's great when someone else does.

I'll be looking for cardstock tonight so I can print some of these off for the Bond corner of the man cave! I'll be sure to post up some pics of what I print.

Re: James Bond 50th Anniversary Paper Prop Challenge

Elektra King - Ransom Photo

This was originally going to be the Prop I put up for The World is Not Enough, however I'm not sure if I can include it as it technically doesnt show in the Movie except on a screen (although it would have to be real at some point)

Anyway, I'll post it here if anyone can use it or even improve on it (the screen shot isn't great)

Print Out at 3.5"x4.25"

Actually there are the letters in Gumbold's studio, which Bond copies.

EDIT: Attached screenshot of the second letter, should be easier to replicate, i can't find the correct coat of arms for the heading of the first...
Maybe someone who owns the blu-ray could provide higher res screenshots...

CHALLENGE COMPLETED <phew>

This has been fun, frustrating, manic....possibly stupid, but in the end I think it was worth doing.

Now I have a challenge for you, if you have made or are thinking of making some of these props...Post pictures so I can see how these things turn out.

I still haven't actually made ANY of these, as I still haven't got a working printer.

Time for a rest and think about what to do next.....
