Favorite James Bond Soundtracks?

I will say though, Skyfall didn't feel like it was lacking in the music dept. Just the soundtrack on it's own isn't anything to write home about.

Has anyone heard Thomas Newman's Skyfall soundtrack? For me, it was ok. I wish David Arnold did the music for this one.

Keeping in mind that I haven't heard it in context of the movie yet, but have the soundtrack, I really like it. I think it's very respectful to what Arnold was doing, although I find it not as melodic and memorable as previous soundtracks. It does have fantastic ambience and feel to it though.
And QoS is one of my favourite soundtracks, so kind of hard to compete for me. :thumbsup

For me the best score has to be The Living Daylights. I just loved the upbeat Bond theme and the "Hercules Takes Off" track. "Mujahadin and the Opium" is simply majestic. And I've always had a soft spot for A-Ha's theme song.

With you on that :thumbsup

That and (surprisingly) OHMSS-we have all the time in the world.
It still stuck in my head, never EVER before a music can stuck this long just listening in short of time.
