Faux oil slick clear coat?

Anyone know of a faux oil slick clear coat like in this photo that can be applied to clear resin? (It is not a color-changing interference type of effect. The colors are stationary.)

Yes you can make a stain with linseed oil and paint tint, put it on let it drythen coat it with what ever level of gloss you want

Thanks for the tip. I am trying to achieve that rainbow/iridescent appearance in the photo. Does linseed do that by itself or would the oil slick rainbow effect be made by the several different colors of tint loosely mixed in the linseed?
