Fashion in Film: The exhibit

Just wondering if anyone else has seen Fashion in Film with costumes from mostly period pieces? I was very disappointed but glad I only spent $4.00 instead of the normal $12.00 admission fee. They said they had costumes from The Temple of Doom. My hopes were high for some great costumes from one of my favorite films. Come to find out, there was only one costume from TOD that was on display. The Maharaja's (sp) costume, which, was also used in the movie The Secret Garden. Didn't know that! But of course there were "no cameras" allowed and the "security" was extremely watchful so not even a chance of getting any pictures. All around, very disappointing. Just wondering if anyone else had the chance to go and what their experience was.

I didn't go at all especially since there were no Pirates Of The Caribbean AT World's End costumes set up. I called last summer regarding the 2009 line up and that was one movie I was told would be present.

I called back in January and monitored their website to find zero POTC stuff.

Yep, not a single POTC costume. A funny thing with the Titanic costume is that is was worn by an extra.

You know, I'm not even sure. They had the turban there, and I believe it had the feathers in the front, but I can't recall it being there...especially since it was used in another movie. My guess is they kept that "prop" off of the costume.
