Update from the source:

"I was at the laser engravers yesterday and approved the first one off the line, and all I can say is DAMN! I can't wait for the remainder to be finished.

Barring any setbacks he should have them wrapped up this week"

Sweet Beans Kylash,

I hope I am paying attention to the JY when these go live.

not sure yet, ended up going through more processes than originally planned. Once theyre done I should get a price.

I'm definately in for one once they are then. ^_^ lol, something tells me tat the plate will be the most expensive part on the whole device...well...unless I do manage to put cellphone guts in it.

Ok forgive me I've missed it but I don't see where you guys have found the right pushbutton. Looks like a radioshack, but mine didn't have one. Any suggestions? Am also curious what color brown you guys are painting the middle knob with

Thanks!!

Now that I'm done with Halloween work I'm going to cast the middle knob in brown. I'll let everyone know the status

Re: Warehouse 13 Prop Research - The Farnsworth

This is what the switches came from i am almost sure. The B&K 400 Cathode Ray tester. I saw one up close at the antique store the other day and it has the concave top and the button is wider than it's shaft. Hard to see in this pic. It has 2 of the black buttons and 1 red. There is also a Model 440 that has 1 black and 1 red button. Also I think the red light from this is what was used on the Farmsworth stand. the antique shop wanted $100 but i got 1 on the bay for $25 shipped. I'm going to change out the switches and sell it off as modified. Maybe i can get a little $ back. I will post good pics when i get it so you guys can make your own determination.
