Looks like 20th Century Fox strives to be the least fan friendly studio ever. Besides Slashfilm, AICN got a similar legal notice.

And I was shocked when I found out recently from @Art Andrews that they sent RPF several C&D to remove some of the pics we shared from Wolverine and X-Men: Days of Future Past, even though most were promo photos while some were set pics. One of them was the script leak screen shot, which is understandable but others don't make any sense.

Wow.

I'm just amazed the studio would try something like this in today's day and age. I can't wait to read what Trank has to say about this. This FF deal sounds worse with every passing day.

FWIW, the Badass Digest story seems to have been edited quite a bit from the initial story. I wish they would've kept the original rather and add to it rather than just do what looks like a complete re-write.

There have been no edits, there are actually two different articles. The one posted on the previous page is before the follow up with Trank and that piece is still there in its entirety. The one I posted on this page is the new article after getting quotes and updates from the director.

Ellen Degeneres as Doctor Doom then, just to keep up with the shock-casting. Honestly, it will be just like when they cast Michael Keaton as Batman or Heath Ledger as the Joker. You haven't really seen the Silver Surfer until you've seen him portrayed by Kanye West.

Plot twist: Doctor Doom will be a woman, but played by a man. Tim Curry or Dustin Hoffman would be perfect for the role.

Or for fun's sake, the role would be played by BRIAN BLESSED.

I think its clear the gender swap reports are bogus. It seems to me that this rumor spawned from all the internet buzz, about casting Michael B Jordan to play Johnny Storm. Then getting blown out of proportion for the sake of comedy. Which i don't get what all the outrage is about anyway.

I think most of the outrage is not about race but about origin story for a black Johnny and a white Sue. They are supposed to be blood related (Brother and Sister).

If they really wanted to stir the pot, they should have stuck with white Storms and made Reed Richards black. That would have caused as big of a firestorm as the mixed family in the Cheerio's commercial.

It's more about source material for me. That's why I didn't enjoy Nolan Batman because they changed everything.
