Fallout robobrain questions

Okay odd question. I want to make a life sized robobrain robot from the fallout game series and i was wondering if anyone knew of any large (33 gal or larger) metal trashcans that are totally smooth. I'd rather use metal than a plastic one if possible just because i think it may look better. Also anyone have tips on replicating large scale triangular tank tread setups? Come to think of it does anyone know where i can find replicas of a human brain or the mold for one?

Oh that'll do nicely. I really stink at google lol. Sadly i think the trashcan and brain are going to be the easy parts of this.

Either a chopped hot water heater or some sheet almunium shaped to form a cylinder would work well. You'll need another cylinder for the recessed section where the red hoses are. The sheet aluminum could work for that too.

Cool. I appreciate all the help. I'm not very good at metal working, maybe i can get one of those barrels, cut it in half and modify part to fit inside the other half. The treads are really plain on the ones in the game, i may make them more interesting. I need to figure out how tall this thing is anyhow, they seem about as tall as a person so i'm aiming for 6' tall. this is going to be a really long project.

That's great, but how are you going to have it whoop out a rifle out of thin air like in the original games?

lol. I always wondered about that. I assumed they had holsters that nobody bothered to model onto them.

I found one on a medical site for i think it was 25.00 before shipping. i'll check ebay and amazon for this model kit though.
