Fallout 4

I you max out your pick pocket skills you should be able to steal their cores, which will make them step out of their suits anyway, then you can climb in it, and be away with it, and next time you come back they might even have a new one on.

Having not played any of the DLC stuff in previous games, do you get to keep your character & stats?

Sure, DLCs are installed similar to mods (unless they completely changed everything, but that would be idiotic), so you should be able to use your old savegames to continue with the DLC activated. Most likely you will get an in-game message telling you there is a signal and a map marker will be added to your map.

Regarding this particular DLC I wonder if yo get the whole robot construction stuff only after completing the according quest or if you will be immediatelly able to build whatever you want...

As for all those "I am bored" comments: I wanderer like 250 hours thorugh the Commonwealth and haven't even spoken to that Institute scientist in the glowing sea... :eek

I think I found two complete X01s and a couple missing parts. I still prefer the look of the T60 though. Also, if you get the special BoS parts for the T60 you get buffs off of them.

Crap i forgot about this being the day. Maybe if i can hobble over to the ps4 i'll put the game in and install it.

Um, why hobble? Everything okay?

Also, those who have trouble with their X-01 armor collections, there looks to be added suits. Found a new complete set of X-01 in a different location.

Maybe the respawn rates were lower than planned for them. I'll have to go looking. Yeah i was stuck in bed for a few days with foot issues so i didn't feel like swapping games. I'd pay extra for sony to make a multi disc changer for the ps4 like the old ones you saw in the 90s in the back of cars. Let me load up my 5 most played games and go from there lol.

Will never happen. Made completely obsolete by digital distribution.

I'm at the end of the dlc fighting the boss but it's glitched so he's stuck in a loop and i haven't found anything on it yet to fix it. So far it's a very underwhelming dlc story wise, you're in a bunch of old military bases but there's so little there to tell the story of what happened. The terminals are all kind of bland and are all before things went bad, they could have really added to the story with them, they just can't seem to live up to the survivalist's journals in New Vegas. I do like this new robot partner, i've nearly got her a body that i can work with.

I'm going to tonight, by the time i realized it was glitching it was 7am and i hadn't been to bed yet lol. Oddly enough one of the robots you can make with the robobrain head looks like the one bad guy robobrain from Fallout Tactics. I might just start from an earlier save and farm some ammo as these robots can take alot of hits.

This DLC was more like a mod. I wasn't impressed. Also I couldn't figure out why the boss attacked me after I passed the speech check to talk it out. It turns out that since I had the thing on my power armor helmet that highlights targets, that makes her an enemy. Brilliant job Bethesda! Also as far as I can tell, the robots you build don't even improve your settlement defense! Seriously? I have a huge modded Sentry robot, and my defense doesn't raise one point?

I will come back to the game for the next DLC or if the GECK is released. I have everything how I want it so I don't really want to start a second game unless some really cool building mods come out. I put a ton of work into my awesome Drive In settlement so I can't see doing it all over again yet! :lol

Yeah i saw that helmet thing too, it ticks off random NPCs too. The robots aren't all that useful either as they take less damage than the human partners no matter what you do. I made it to the end of the thing in 2 hours and would have been done as he was about out of power if it hadn't glitched. Why is it suddenly so hard to find ammo? It's suddenly like the ammo supply at every vendor is half of what it was.

Well..... I"m sold on not getting the DLC just yet. Sounds like typical not-so-thought-out Bethesda. Love the game, hate how they don't catch the little things that seem like gaping plot/gameplay holes.

Since I put in decent defences in all settlements, there hasn't been any kidnapping or raider attacks, which is a bit boring when you are relying on those to rank up friendship with Strong.

What bothers me, as i said before, is this add on has no real storyline. I'm sure there's some when you talk to the bad guy but there is so little backstory on anything that they could have filled in with more terminal stuff. It's almost like this is some content they cut during the very early writing stages and just slapped together without fleshing it out. The Mechanist being a special robobrain or crazed humanoid robot would have thrown a twist to the story. There is even some spots they could have added jump scares but didn't. That said this is still better than what Bungie's doing with destiny in their new update.

How'd you pull that off? I have a ton of defenses at the Abernathy farm and those idiots are constantly getting kidnapped.
