I decided to build a BD1 from fallen Jedi. Like everything I do I start a post about half way through. I still have all the electronics to do and the crate he will sit on but here are the pics of where im at so far.

So here is a little progress. This will be a fully animatronic droid for the conventions so I created a crate for him to be perched on. The rope will be on the crate as well to indicate supplies.
