Fake glasses

Hello, I need to find some men's 20/20 version glasses..So Fake glasses. I need some as props. Can anyone point me to a good site with good designs and price. Thanks

I bought cheap frames on ebay, took them into a lenscrafters and paid a whopping 10 bucks for my lenses, just clear plastic test lenses they have kicking around. Allowed me to find the style I wanted!

I use zennioptical.com

super cheap, shipping takes a while since they are direct from china but you can't beat the selection and price (start at $8 shipped no tax). fairly sure you just add all zeros in the prescription for plain glass, but I'm not sure as I'm blind as a bat. :lol

If you go to Costco, they sell frames with plastic demo lenses (non-prescription). I find that some rubbing alcohol can take the logo off.

Not to get too far off-topic, but I am always a bit annoyed when watching a tv show or film and lights reflect evenly off of the full surface of both lenses in a characters glasses.

A huge tell that the glasses are not only prop frames but flat prop lenses. I wish they would go to the trouble of getting curved senses that mimmick the look of real lenses so that the reflections (which cannot be avoided during filming) would look like something from the real world.

I've not noticed that before, but damn you for mentioning it as it will now always catch my eye. Ruining the illusion of TV...

It's like whenever a film now has a training montage, you can't help but think "you gotta have a montage...."

You're welcome.

And, yeah, Matt and Trey are brilliant at ruining the movie watching experience. I so admire their talent.
