Are you planning on adding a working hidden blade to this? And if so, is it going to be gravity fed or dual action?

I have two gravity-fed Brotherhood style hidden blades from Ammnra. I was originally going to go with the NECAs but they ended up being way too short - child sized. Ammnra's are the right length.

Darn. My search for dual action hidden blades continues. A pity Ammnra doesn't actually sell those, he would probably make a lot more money.

You can always commission them but it would cost a ridiculous amount of money.

I've done enough research to understand the mechanics of it, with the exception of the 2 tier blade lock. If I knew how to model stuff, I could just use a friend's 3d printer. Maybe I can just throw money at him to design a good one, because I've had no luck finding them out there.

Haha, that's what I did. I'm also an engineer with the same modelling program he has but was just like screw it, I don't have time for this.

I fixed the collar. I resized it and used the same color and type of red leather as the rest. I'm happy with it finally. I'm also very happy with the hood. I just need to sew it down.

Update time!

So I finally finished the ruffles over the weekend which was one of the biggest hurdles to overcome. That same weekend I got my buckle in from the ridiculously talented Fevereon! Now that I have these parts done, finishing the costume should hopefully go a lot quicker.

I finally finished all of the shoulder pads. It took me all day just to cut and glue the strips for the pointy shoulder pads.

I finished sewing the sides together. Tomorrow, I plan to fit the shoulder pads on the jerkin and sew those together.

That hood is easily one of the best I have ever seen. It fits and maintains the shape excellently.

Thank you! To get the hood to stand up right, I used two strips of Rigilene boning and sewed it from the tip to the highest point on the head.

I finally got the shoulder pads on. I had to get help just to align the first side correctly while on a mannequin. The second side was even more difficult. I pinned taped the right side shoulder pads on top of the left perfect. Then I pinned the right shoulder side to the left, then used needles and tape to right shoulder pads to the right end so they would be mirrored correctly. It was ridiculous sewing each side on perfectly.

Dude this is amazing!!! I shall be using this thread as reference for my own build, i may have to pick ur brains about a few things also. Lookin forward to the next update!!
