Expendables Barney Ross' Custom Single Action Army

Ever since I saw the first Expendables movie, I loved Stallone's little revolver. So I looked it up on the Movie Firearms Database wiki.

Apperantly, it's a Custom Single Action Army revolver.

I found an alarm pistol version of a regular Single Action Army revolver at a local shop, and decided to mod it.

Here are some WIPs and some final Glam shots of the gun.

The gun as I purchased it:


Disassembled:



I cut down the barrel sight and added the 3 groves in the front.
I filled out the checkering on the plastic grips with epoxy putty and sanded everything smooth.

Finally, I spraypainted the grips black to match those from the movie, and reassembled the gun.

Jevaho, that looks TERRIFIC!!! I was lucky to find a Co2 powered metal replica by Umarex offered by Evike in their 'Boneyard' for only $82.00 because it was considered broken. When I received it, I took it apart and saw a spring had moved loose. Put it back in place and works great!
