The shape shifter can go thru somehow, but why did they have to appear naked? I mean, appearing clothed they would still be made of the same stuff, right?
Why not just just send a live pig back to 1984 with an A-Bomb inside it? Kill Sarah Connor real good.
The Boper-nator was annoying. Sometimes acting real, and sometimes a cold pout that supposed to be tough I guess.
If this has been in the can since July 07 then they're worried about releasing it.

IIRC, the PILOT was in the can, and "leaked" to the internet.
A lot of changes have been made to the show sice it was made.
As for the whole "organic matter" thing - I wondered why Arnie didn't bring some weaponry in his chest, or even use the aforementioned pig-plan way back in the 80s.
The A-bomb, I suppose, would be a bad idea because Skynet would obviously want to kill Connor, but make as few other changes as possible, just in case it somehow destroyed itself by changing another aspect of history.

Why do you assume it's the same officer Austin? The one Robert Patrick killed in T2 didn't even look like Robert Patrick and this series starts out in '99 - two years after the timeframe they list as T2 having taken place at.
