Excelsior and Defiant Studio Model Photos

Wow! Fantastic images. Naturally I saved them all. Where did they come from?
Thanks for sharing.

I don't know who posted them originally. I found the link on another message board. It was stated that these images may have been the references used by Polar Lights for their 1/1000 USS Excelsior NX/NCC reissue.

Great stuff either way, better references than I ever had for either ship. The Excelsior ones seem to have been taken at various times, many of them before Trek VI, as evidenced by the shuttle bay area on the top of the fantail.

The entire discussion about the smooth-silver bridge that was on the NX-2000 in ST:tSfS and its lack of or poor reproduction in the upgraded Round 2 model is made more fascinating, considering that this bridge module appears on the Repulse. So its not like that smooth-bridge unit was taken off the "NX-2000" and was never put back on the FX miniature during the many productions after Search for Spock.

Does anyone know anyway to save the pics at the link without saving each one one at a time???

Thanks
