escape pod kit list

I just checked my kits and the chevy titan is a match to the frame rails used on the sides of the body. the body is devided into thirds so there are three need for the pod

wow I am lucky I habe all th ebig bandai tanks except the jagdtiger
can some one plese Id this part or point me to a make and manufacturer I think it is from a truck but could be wrong
also add the pld ertl transit mixer to the list I had thought the frame rails were international but it appears they are kenworth the slanted oval gives it away.

just found that the livestock trailer and the kenworth papa malone truck have the same frame rails as the mixer:cool

Rambo,

I saw a post over at RI under the name "cripple" posting "escape pod kits". Is that you. These two posts start out the same. HOWEVER "cripple" posts that the jackson tank destroyer and the sherman m4a1 (both italeri) are donators. however they are not included here on your initial post.

i can't find that italeri made a jackson tank destroyer.

and i was foolish enough to pick up the sherman m4a1 yet can't find any candidate parts. if i'm wrong, can someone point me to the right piece and its location on the e.pod?

sooo
is cripple you...or has somebody copied our post and added a couple bogus kits? if you, why the diff lists? and if you, and found out later that the two kits were mis-idenified, then perhaps you should kindly tell ppl of your find, unless the aim was to mislead?

i dunno
little bitter and confused. hope you or someone can help.
thx

not me but I think I know who it is and they have copied my stuff before this is why I rarely join any forums being a lurker is sometimes less frustating.
I am pretty sure the old tamiya jackson is the right one what your looking for is the main gun mount. can you post pics of the italeri kit trees. sometimes we rush to buy kits only to find them useless for a time then out of nowhere you find a part out of it . this is the down side of this type of project

I will be molding parts for the Escape pod next month namely the sealab and the kenworth frame rails and a few of the rare kit parts so if anyone wants a set just say so and I will be happy to make them

I CALL SHENANIGANS !!!!!

if cripple copies YOUR posts...then you copy HIS posts

R.I. board:
"wanted studio scale y nose", started by cripple on 11-06-2008

R.P.F. board:
"wanted ss y wing nose", started by rambo5788 on 11-07-2008

what are the chances you "two" both needed the exact same thing? if he was copying you, why would he use the same type of language, but yet not copy-n-paste directly?

in addition, "both" of you have had dealings with mr. salzo

and don't forget 2 examples here:
the kit list at the beginning of the post THEN the question about the truck grill part (with the picture)?

i'm a supporter of "chance" and "coincidence"...but with how small this community is and that 2 ppl are doing these exact same things at the same time....

BULL !!!!!

if you did something on accident .... like posting at RI then here, but forgetting to edit over there....thats cool. silly crap happens, np. but DO NOT LIE.

tell me what piece (from the e'pod) you expect should be on the ital. sherman, (then i'll check for myself....hand over the reference pic, if need be -- you'll get no kit scans from me, initially) and i'll likely settle down a bit.
but being mislead to buy a kit then being lied to will not color you in a favorable light in this community.

Strange... :wacko

Also there are NO ITALERI kits used on ANH models. :)

Escape Pod: There is a new 110% accurate kit on the way folks... among MANY others. :angel Models you simply wouldn't believe.

You're making kits, Jamie? Awesome!!! It's about time someone of your caliber put out something accurate... as opposed to a rushed kit that then gets rereleased 6 months later due to "more accurate data".

I'll just say that I'm very busy at the moment. As an enthusiast I think you'll be impressed. Accurate data is what SS modeling is really all about. You know I won't put my stamp of approval on anything that isn't up to par... it's time.:)

sorry you rushed out to buy a kit. and I had not confirmed it with photos. how much did you spend if you don't mind me asking. I could buy it off you. if this would help.

only spent like...$19. no big pain. just smarted to find out the truth.
i'll keep it. shipping cost would make it a pointless exercise, and i'll likely find other uses for it.
