ESB Vader bust

In ESB there are two styles of armor worn by Prowse. One has the shoulder bells underneath the chest armor (like in ANH), and the other has them mounted at the edges of the chest armor (like in ROTJ). When mounted at the edges, it makes his silhouette broader at the shoulders.

Because I wanted the versatility of being able to match any screen shot, promo still, etc.. I had to have both versions for my ESB display.
Of course, only one set of armor can be displayed on the mannequin at any given time, so I decided to make a bust display for whichever set is not in use.

There's just something about seeing that glossy armor exposed without the cape hiding it.

ESB rocks.

I know lighting can give a lighter or darker effect to colors, take the first picture for example (red backdrop) and you can see the grey is much darker then the picture to the right. I liked the darker color soooo much that I went with this for my ESB Vader. C

What's the reason, GINO? Building up a photo library for your new website? A big sale coming up? Something else? C'mon...:lol...you can't just throw a statement out there like that and not tell us what the "reason" is.

But whatever the reason, your bust looks fan-frakking-tastic! :thumbsup :thumbsup

Btw, does Vader wear it the two ways about evenly in ESB, or is it primarily one way, and the other way just shows up in one or two scenes?

You can see the "underneath" version in the scenes where:
-Opening scene on star destroyer when he says "that is the system"
-Sitting in his meditation chamber
-Kneeling before the emperor hologram
-In the dining hall with Fett
-Walking through the corridors on Hoth.

You can see the "on the edges" version in the scenes where:
-He is talking to Fett/Lando in the hallway outside of the torture room.
-In the carbon freezing chamber during the Han freezing sequence.
-When he is walking down the hallway after the duel with Luke has ended.
-On Hoth when he finally makes it to the falcon as it speeds away.
-When he tells the hologram officers to keep searching the asteroid field.


Those are off the top of my head, I'm sure there are many more of each.
