ESB Snowtrooper Blaster Question

What blaster is this Snowtrooper carrying? I know its the ANH version, but I'm not sure which one it is according to PartsofSw.com .
What type of scope does it have?

Also, I've read that the blaster doesn't have the cylinders and Hengstler counter, can anyone confirm?

In the second picture attached, what type of scope is it: M32/M19 or the M38/M40?

The pic on the right looks like an M38. The pic on the left looks like an M32.

I need to update The Parts of Star Wars.
There are at least 3 variations used in ESB that are not in ANH.

That particular one is a firing ESB Hero version. The scope rail is a little wider than ANH (maybe 3/4" - I haven't checked exact size). The scope is a M32 or M19. There is a box-like detail on the back of the rail that has yet to be identified. That box also appears on the resin ESB stunts.

Does this particular blaster have the Hengstler Counter? I'm looking at Pugman's ESB stunt blaster and does the snowtroopers blaster have the greeblies?

Or is this blaster mostly ANH with no greeblies?

By the way the Snowtroopers uniform can be seen through the scope rail, I'd say there is no counter. If there were you wouldn't be able to see through it as that's where the counter would be........

Most of the snowtroopers do not have the greeblies on their blasters. Unfortunately even with HD you can tell what several of them are carrying.

There's a publicity photo I have of Leia surrounded by 3 troopers on Hoth: they are holding the all resin version. This version was used an M32; had some funky piece in front of the sight, and one behind. The left side had some clip like thingies that were pre-cursors to the similar objects on the ROTJ version.

There was a British chap on the boards last year who recast a screen-used blaster and sold them. Really cool (but you can see all the clayed in areas). As close to a real prop as I'm going to get.

Now where did I put that photo of Leia?

Similar to ANH, but wider rail.
Just the scope, rail, and box on rail behind the scope on this firing version - no other greeblies.
As Mgoob said the resin version has more greeblies.

Thanks for the help, looks like it's time to upgrade my blaster to be more accurate to that reference pic.

One quick question, does that particular ESB blaster have the magazine attached to it? I can't tell if it does. Or if it should.

The resin stunt version has a short magazine in it.
They all should; even some ANH had blocks of wood in there.

Hope one day eFX or another company to make these ESB blasters and variants as well :)
