ESB Han Solo questions

ok, i have the components for the costume together, except for the gun belt, can anyone recommend a good gun belt?...there's some on e-bay from Singapore, but they seem a bit sketchy to me, any help will be greatly appreciated....

Thanks,

Sam

The ones on Ebay from Singapore are actually from Germany, at least that's where they ship from. While not 100% accurate, they are nicely made. A few modifications and they're good to go. I recommend ordering a size too large, since the belt should be a "Hip-Hugger" and they size them like real belts for the waist. The biggest problem I've had with mine is the holster itself is a little small for my replica mauser, but I have a plan to fix that. Also, if you decide to order from him...find one of his auctions that has a "Best Offer" button and use that...offer him a very small amount and he will usually accept. He seems to accept just about any offer on these. (Sorry if the seller is on the RPF, but it's true...and if you are here, why not make a few minor changes to the belt and have it accurate off the shelf?)

The buckles are real metal, as is the droid caller holder, the hardware is pretty nice and the whole belt is a decently thick leather or good leather replica. It's not cheap vinyl. The pouches are attached with snaps, which means you can buy more snaps and move them to other locations on the belt (but this leaves you with extra female snaps around the side of the belt.)

Here are some better pics than what he puts on ebay.
This is his "ANH" version. The only difference I see between it and his "ESB" is that he switchs the buckles positions.

Doghairs on the carpet are NOT included. :)

This is as far as the gun will go without modifications.

Matt from MP Productions makes the best ones -by far- in my opinion- I have a number of them and he is very easy to work with.
