Seeing as how we don't see any shine off of them in the pics, my guess would be that they are matte.

The latch kit is done and will be ready to mold by Tuesday so that they can be included with orders when they ship. I'll have full details and pics in just a few days.

My inner grammar Nazi is crying. I can make a kit of a helmet, or I can make a finished helmet; but I have no idea what the hell a "finished kit" is because those two things are diametrically opposed. The helmet is either unfinished (ie, a kit), or it is finished. It cannot exist in two states at once.

That's not nearly as cringe-worthy as someone asking you if they can "buy a mold of your helmet"

The latch kits are now done and molded and can be sent with your orders. (I've been intentionally slowing things down so that I could save you guys the cost of shipping these separate.) They are $20 for the kit, which I can just add in with your final shipping invoice to keep things simple.
What you get are the four much more accurate latches and a stamp tool to create the recessed alcove they sit in. I'll post a tutorial on using it shortly.
For the finished helmets it is an extra $50 to add these to your order.
I think it's safe to assume that everyone here wants the most accurate helmet they can get, so I'm going to assume that you want it added to your order. So instead you only need to post or PM if you DON"T want them. This will also keep the thread from clogging up with extra "add me" posts.
Let me repeat that in real big letters for the people that don't read so good. YOU DON'T NEED TO POST IF YOU WANT THESE ADDED TO YOUR ORDER. THEY WILL BE ADDED AUTOMATICALLY. ALL NEW ORDERS AFTER THIS DATE WILL AUTOMTICALLY HAVE THESE AS WELL.
I got ten bucks that says someone will be asking to have this added within 3 posts after this. :wacko

Good news today kids! I just pulled the first clean set of lenses and that means that the kits will finally start shipping this week.
I needed a little more time on them as the lenses were coming out clouded from the surface texture on the bucks. But that is fixed, the latch kit is done, and the holidays are over, so time to start boxing.
No need to message me or anything. When your order is ready I will invoice you for the shipping balance and the latch kit.

Yes. In fact I'm very close to having those done and ready to mold along with the black chicklet tucked inside the cheek.
