I drilled a two holes in the barrel for both lights and wired it to the end cap with the switches so I can turn it on in one place... I made the end cap removable with a screw on the bottom. My first build, definitely learned a lot (lots of trial and error in the painting)I actually meant to go into detail for both of those, but forgot to.
For the end cap, this is how the parts go together. This holds it in place, but allows it to still swivel.
This is what the LED kit looks like. There are two circuits like this. One to illuminate the magazine, and one to illuminate the Hengstler.
The LED circuits pretty much get crammed into the hollow sections, and the LED is positioned to shine through the holes.
I drill a slot in the bottom of the magazine (same for the Hengstler) and the switch sticks out slightly.
Hopefully that helps.
