Episode 1 Battle Tank

Started back on this. Started on the lower pan section. carved the basic shape today. and then will true it up with a drag template. once its close i will laminate with a sheet of fiberglass and coat with Epoxy on both sides to make a hard shell and then bondo it up and make it nice and smooth.

This thing is amazing! Glad to see you back on this project. I love this tank... Already built two of the AMT kits.

Are you building this in a certain scale or the same size as the rather huge ILM 'miniature'? How big is it going to be once finished?

Very "kick-*ss", Al... I built the tank right after I built Anakin's pod-racer. The tank is an awesome model. I wish I still had it... Any chance of a little battle-droid popping out of the hatch with a pair of binoculars?
