Enterprise Refit -signup.tomy.com

Yeah. As I mentioned earlier there is so much decoration that they should not be as visible. I was also thinking the docking ports could hide a couple. We have to remember this prototype is not diecast. So all attachment areas probably haven't been planned out yet ..

Hopefully, they’ll skip the whole “saucer-separation” concept with this model, as well.

I have literally zero clue where I could put such a thing, I truly do not have the space for such a thing. And yet, on August first... ;)

xlowes could you update your thread title to something more descriptive? I missed this thread entirely until someone in the other Tomy thread pointed it out. I think on most forums you can 'report' your own first post and make the request in that box. Maybe something like "TOMY TMP Refit Enterprise (1/350 Diecast Replica)"

Or:

THE REFIT IS HERE BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.

The signup page asks what I want included with my order, listing 1 shuttle with a count dropdown box, but doesn't provide any options to change it. So that's kind of a weird setup. I honestly might save money by excluding that shuttle if given the open, depending on how much it knocked off, but it seemed to be a false choice.

Or:

THE REFIT IS HERE BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.
Or that  I see the title has indeed been minimally updated now to at least mention the Enterprise refit.

I am as always, sad that there's no option for shipping to Japan.....

The model looks perfect, and even with the lame exchange rate, I'd be in on this....But I don't think they'll ship here...10kg is a lot...I get that...

Can't we help you out there? Someone who is not broke can order a second, you pay them when it arrives and then just pay to ship it to you? It's no risk. If you end up homeless by the time it comes out they will have no trouble reselling it.

Hahaha...I don't think homelessness will be a problem for a year or two, unless my wife finds out about me buying one more "useless piece of junk", but she does love Trek too...So I reckon I can swing that... :)
But yeah, it's a lot though, at one time to cover, for two...So I wouldn't expect the help...But if it comes? Would gladly take it up...

Reply from TOMY . The base will be die-cast metal. Very sturdy to support a model weighing over 20lb!
We have also been told that the nacelle lights will be diffused in the production model, to eliminate the hot spots you see in the photos of the prototype.

We will be setting a goal at the outset of the campaign and the TOMY team has no intention of changing that initial goal. -Valerie

I hope that remains the case. There were promises made about the TOS Enterprise at the outset that were not fulfilled because it came down to the deadline (and bean counters got in the way).

I can't speak for everyone, but my take is that all promises MUST be kept, even if it means a delay in timing.

What about a detailed shuttlebay? Did anyone ask about that?
