I very long time ago.

A good friend of mine, who is also a member here, was sent a box of goodies from his friend at Lucasfilm.
One of the items, was the Resin Light Saber, that so many of you are familiar with. God knows it was remolded to Death and offered for sale here in the many years since.

Well, the owner has decided to offer another run of it. First Gen Casting off the one he was given.
So if you ever wanted a chance to own it from the original source, now is your chance.

We were told a resin version was the one shot out of R2. Now, there have been nameless former Lucasfilm Employees who have insisted there was "never a resin saber molded, that they knew of". Fair statement. However, considering They shot 15 or so sabers out of an R2 Head with a air canon when they filmed the scene. Anyone want to bet it was the hero version? I think not.

So, if you are interested.

Put your name down, and Nathan will get his premium membership, and he can take it from there.

Contact: Nathan Lenz boatsgomissing@gmail.com

85.00 Plus whatever shipping is going to be to get it to you. Probably 10 to 12 in US, and overseas 25.00

So, if there is interest....let him know below.

Edit- Are there any threads detailing the particular prop this is cast from?

its from the RotJ Hero, post-cave scene
(Grey rail detail included). No other existed besides the casting that I’m aware of.

Do you know if these new castings will involve any extra steps in mold-making or material quality to improve on bubble prevention/ preservation of detail / undercuts? (Vacuum chamber, platinum cure silicone, two part mold... etc)
