I completely concur! Great stop motion. I did some of this in college and it's not easy to get it to look that fluid. :thumbsup

Thanks guys for all the encouragement! I finished the rest of the animation right before Comic Con and have since past on the footage to my compositor who is now working his magic, I plan on revealing the finished shot in about another week and a half or so....... hang in there!
Christrom: I don't use keyframes because I prefer to just start at the beginning and just let the animation flow without worrying about getting to a certain point by a certain frame. I do, however, act out the action with a stopwatch to roughly figure out the length of the shot and then I can kinda gauge where I need to be by a certain frame.

Hey Thanks everybody for the kind words of support, this Wampa attack shot was just a warm up for the next shot which I'm currently getting set up for. This time it's gonna be a full on running shot....... wip pics will be coming soon

Ok, here's a couple of wip pics of the set, I just have to carve out the left side of the set behind the lair entrance and add a couple of "floating" boulders here and there and then extend the far inside cave wall a tad and it'll be ready to go
