While not really a true replica prop, this is still a quick prop a threw together in about 20 mins after hours at work this past week. For a short video I needed to shoot for an online contest. Since the title of this thread already gives away the punch line and what I thought was the funniest part of my video, here is a pic. A screen cap from the video, a still of the prop and a screen cap from SpaceBalls.

Like I said, not the best prop replica by a long shot and might not even qualify for the board here. But I was just going for the over all idea.

You may asking yourself, what is this video is for and you my ask yourself haven't we seen this video before. And I would answer, well kinda, as I did shot a video similar to this a few years for another Star Wars fan competition, but this one is updated with a few more jokes, well I think they are funny.

Anyhow, this video is for the Ultimate Fanboys Contest and I finally had time to film a little video and get it uploaded before the end of this contest, which is a contest to win a walk on role in the new movie "Fanboys." They have already filmed most of this movie but will be doing pick up shot and will include the winner of this contest as an extra in the film.

So if you have the time, please do check out this short contest video I put up and cast a vote (Rate This Video, 5 Star please) for me if are a member of the site or please sign up and cast a vote for me. I don't get anything from you registering for the site, so you can always register just to cast a quick vote then remove yourself from the site. One last thing, today is the last day of the contest, Sept. 15th. Bu the votes are not too big of a deal, as all I need to do is place in the top 10 and then they pick the winner for the walk on roll from the top 10.

Why didnt you show off that elvis trooper bust in your case there?

Not too many "fanboys" have there own official SW bust!

Yeah, in a few of the takes I did talk about the ElvisTrooper mini bust and the charity raffle at CIV. But after playing them back I noticed it was running way too long as I had to make it 3 mins or less. And I even had to edit this clip too to make it under the time limit. So just kept the funny and what I though flowed well enough. And some of the other videos I watch only talked about their collection or just one small part of being a fan, so I wanted to do something different.
