Elder(Avp) Neck Armor Help

Alright guys, anyone on here know how i can go about making the elder avp neck armor (see pic) dont know how to / or have any latex.

mould it.

cast it.

paint it.

thanks .... as i said i dont know how to use latex or do i have any  !  so i need some better ideas

Usurper has pretty much summed up the process. I'd start my getting some decent photos of the neck ring. Check the extra features on the AVP disc or have a hunt in the galleries for any screen caps. I had no idea about latex and made a chestburste. It's time to learn lol think outside the box. Can you use something different? If not it might be the hard way with sculpting moulding and casting. If money is tight try paper machie.
