Egon Spengler joins the BPRD - UPDATE 3/20 - C2E2 Photos!

I wanted to come up with a new cosplay for C2E2 in March here in Chicago, but I didn't have alot of money to start. So I came up with the idea, what if other paranormal fighters joined the BPRD? I came up with a new jumpsuit scheme and tweaked some gear to see what it would look like if Egon joined the BPRD.

Just a few pictures to start off for now.

Still working on this. Trying to make my own center seal for it.

I tried tearing apart an ear gauge I found online with little success.

Thank you. I'll show pictures of the proton pack a little later. Probably not gonna change much to it from normal.

Yeah it seemed like a sweet idea but ended up failing. This could have all been avoided if the guy who makes them wasn't a ******. I asked him if it would be possible to see a picture of it unassembled to get an idea of what that piece looks like since I'm not using it as a gauge. He says no because how he makes them is a secret and doesn't want to lose business. Its resin glued on top of a picture glued into a premade gauge. VERY Top Secret. Then i ask if i can buy it unassembled and once again it's a no. Finally i just cave and buy the full pair only to crack it open and find it's useless.

Yep, I'm there both days. I'm thinking ten on Friday and eleven on sat since I want to get a pick with Sheppard who is a guest on the new season this spring.

Thats right, he will be there. My days are usually, buy everything on Friday, dress up on Saturday, then just hang out and take pictures on Sunday since I'm broke and incredibly sore from wearing the proton pack all day Saturday.

Lol, that's why im choosing not to go GB this year. I want to give my back a vacation. It was a hard decision though as the GB is always popular. But as you stated in the OP, sometimes you got to do something different

Agreed. I went as a GB for a few years, but every year it changed. I added the trap one year and then completely redid the pack the next. Since i didn't have much else to add, it was time to do something new. I didn't want to become one of those people that put on the same costume all the time, year after year, and never change.

Depends on how cooperative it is. I always fight with it a little. I usually end up a bit more conservative with the sticky uppiness factor than I should
