With how long it's taken, I really wish the Legend Scout would just get made already. Not simply for the collectors who have been waiting nearly a decade, but so I can track one down in the aftermarket lol
 
For sure. If I didn't already have money tied up in this fiasco, I would've jumped on the RS offering for sure. Of course when this EFX preorder happened, there weren't any lineage options for scout helmets. Things have changed for sure.
 
Maybe the RS logo is only on it to prevent it from being recast by EFX and in the end the EFX Scout Trooper Legend Version (helmet + pistol) will suddenly released.. :lol::lol::lol:

I have the eFX Legend on “order”, & I jumped on the RS Signature when it was announced. The eFX is going to be weathered, so I got my RS clean, that way I can have 1 each (weathered & clean). I also wanted to compare the two, & see if there would be any difference. So far the only difference I can see is the RS Scout has been in my Detolf for years!!! Sure the RS didn’t come with a blaster… but they fixed that issue too now.

The EFX Legend and blaster was 899.00 USD in 2014, adjusted for inflation is 1059.00 today.

The RS Scout helmet, purchased today is 500 GBP, plus 250 GBP for the blaster if you managed to snag one. Converted to USD the total is 1015.00

I don’t have a point, was just curious how the numbers compared.
 
For those who are tired of waiting after the EFX, New Image prop is offering very convincing Scout helmet. Helmet is made in fiberglass and face mask in ABS.

It’s a beautiful and incredibly good helmet for almost the third of the price of the EFX without having it’s major flaws. (huge gap of the visor)
