eFX SCOUT TROOPER HELMET LEGEND EDITION!!

If anyone is going to EFX booth, can you please ask about 'Porg Maquette' please?!
I despise their business practices too, but I really want that 1:1 Porg :D

They announced a Porg Maquette as an Ultimate Collector product last year...
This looks to be modeled after the production Porg that was auctioned off as charity

They had quite a few items on display at Celebration. Apparently, they have a line of stunt lightsabers in the works. The prototypes looked like 3D prints to me.

I think most of everything eFX were showing was old stuff they have made, & stuff they've been showing for the last decade that they've never made.
The lightsabers were from their old Precision Cast Replica line. I've had two of them for ages now.

Now, these are not limited editions, so they can start making them again. They're 1:1, I think they look great, & they're well made. They are plastic, so they're super light weight, but that'd be great for trooping in. I keep mine on a shelf with my MR sabers, & until you pick 'em up, you can't tell the difference.

I think those were released many years ago. I want to say maybe around 2013. I think they started showing at shows around 2010. I think the original price was $99.

Google “eFx precision cast lightsaber“

Here is an old thread about the The Phantom Menace Obi: eFX Obi Wan Kenobi E1 Precision Cast Stunt Replica Review (Pic Heavy)

Yea I was at Celebration and asked about them. I knew the Ep 1 Obi and ROTJ Luke were released, and I had purchased the Luke. The others I was not aware of but the efx guy said they were all past releases. I specifically asked about the OBWK from Ep 3 and he said that was from around 10 years ago. He did say that they are planning to start making precision cast sabers again.

Thanks, I must have missed them. Did they ever get released?

Sean

I believe everything got released starting around 2013. I'm sort of like you as they sort of came and went under the radar. I think I barely recall Toywars.com selling them. I guess since I had metal replicas of these hilts, I just dismissed them. If you google them, you can find reviews and sales. People are trying to sell the for around $300-$500 these days on the secondary market.

These were not LE, so you would think that eFx might want to keep them going just to keep money coming in. I am assuming that when they did sell, they sold well.

I've had heard stories of these hilts snapping like twigs.

These are definitely light weight, but as far as snapping like twigs?.... I guess you could, but why try? Stick 'em on a shelf or hang 'em from a belt, but definitely do not fight with 'em.

They’re solid resin cast pieces that are meant for display. I have one of the Jedi stunt sabers, and I’m pretty confident I would break or damage it by dropping it or banging it into something. That’s not really the fault of the piece though. Mine will be perfectly safe in its display
