eFX Reveals Stormtrooper Hero Legend Edition Helmet!

Geez at that rate, you may just want to buy a Shepperton Design helmet....At least they were the original makers!

Go for it and while you may be happy with it for now once you start to become more intamate with the stormtrooper form and shape you will realize that you've just shelled out big dollars for a huge lump of turd. And he wasn't the original maker. Original vac former maybe but the guy couldnt sculpt his way out of a paper bag. :lol

Oh and if I had to guess a price I'd say $599 judging by past products and the amount of time/materials to finish them. Although I would pay much more for something so darn screen perfect.

What he said.

Gino, Bryan, eFX, anyone.
Any word yet? I'm getting impatient (but I'll wait :confused)!
I'm sure it'll be done right, though.

If I ever go crazy, I hope I have one of these helmets to wear, so I can go to my "happy place." No Joke.:wacko

Nowhere near it. :rolleyes
That is just a stock photo,but if you read the description;
"To ensure that your eFX Stormtrooper helmet retained all of the subtle nuances of the hand-sculpted original, our engineers digitally scanned and cast a surviving original helmet to recreate this iconic piece of Star Wars history."
It also says;
"Accurate 1:1 Scanned From Original Episode IV: A New Hope Movie Helmet
Quality ABS Construction
Accurate Lense
sCertificate Of Authenticity.
12" W X 12" D X 13" H"
Also there is a German website stating more or less the same,incl the same price bracket;
S.P.A.C.E - 1:1 Hero Stormtrooper Helmet - Legend (Episode 4 - ANH) EFX01111018

Here is a comparison of the original screen used helmet and our first prototype.
As noted earlier, the plastic used for this prototype is not the final plastic.
As far as the color of the plastic, upon inspection of the original in places that were hidden from light/exposure, we determined that the plastic was originally pure white as opposed to the slightly warm/yellowed white that we are used to seeing in originals as they look today.
The color of the plastic will be matched to the original as it was on the day it was formed vs how it looks now.

Gino, please tell Bryan to offer the Lengend TK lid with scuff marks on the vocoder (sp?) and helemt lid. Kinda like the Vader legend as 'original' looking scuffs, bumps, imperfections etc. I guess I'm a BIG fan of original looking props; not ones that are "idealized" and cleaned up.

the eFX Precision Cast helmet doesn't appear to have screws in the ears
maybe its this one click me

That could be too. Though the lenses on the link seem flat, and the ears are one piece with the helmet. Anyway the idea is that I don't think the LG sotrmie will be just £150 (though I wouldn't mind - I'd buy 2 if so LOL:lol)

No, you need to do research!

Yes, Brian and Liz sculpted the costume, but is was AA who formed them. Therefore, AA made them after he was handed the forming tools. He is the original maker - not the creator!

Please keep the AA discussion out of this thread. There are plenty of other threads about this.
