I presume the hand guards are still intact for the screen suit even though not pictured as the replica ones look great.

I have to get one of these......... please offer the armour without the mannequin as shipping will kill me for a full size package.

I know this is a long shot but I have every correct piece of vintage strapping and original fixings for the ANH trooper is there any chance of an unassembled version of this?

Hey Chris and thanks!

On the original suit, it is missing one of the rivet covers. The second was loose in it's container, and the third was still attached.
I was able to access the inside of the belt (the flat part with the blocks attached) without having to remove the original rivets.

Same with the knee belt.
In fact every piece of the armor was made by gaining molding access from inside the parts.
Though I'd prefer not to go into the details of how this was achieved for practical reasons. ;)

There were no hand plates on the original other than an outlining crust. I sculpted these hand plates in clay using LFL reference and molded them in dark brown urethane and painted them white.
Other than the hand plates lost to time, every other component of the suit was available including the under suit, neck seal, and thigh belt.

EFX does not offer any product in kit form so I would say no.

I am equally excited myself.
The original armor was in fantastic condition.
I can say without a doubt that the original armor when it was made was a pure brilliant white, not off-white or beige white in at any level.
Once some of the parts were removed that had not been exposed to air it was shockingly apparent. Like a 35 year old sunburn.

I will try to see what I'm allowed to share in terms of the original armor. It is not up to me what is able to be shown but I will try.
For now, the pic I posted shows most of the suit in it's entirety with the exception of the soft goods (which weren't pictured).

This is an exciting time to be a SW fan! I am floored in regards to what we have in store! I just hope it's not too much for my poor wallet to handle! Haha!

An ABS ANH Hero helmet would be just what the doctor ordered to go with my ABS ROTJ Hero, if eFx ever decided to make them available separately! Very cool that the full armor suit will come with an ABS helmet. The ESB Boba Fett helmet cast is just incredible and certainly a holy grail for many. What's left now? A cast of the ROTJ helmet? lol!
 
Wow, the trooper suit with all it's extra bits is very interesting. I always thought there was more to the neck seal... more of a vest than what folks were doing. I haven't read the thread but has a price for this been mentioned yet?

At the moment I'm dreaming that my future set up will be an full ANH Vader flanked by this trooper on one side and my RS trooper on the other side. I'm halfway there as I have my RS and half a Vader.A couple of years ago I thought we'd never see an actual ANH stormy and now we are spoiled by 2. It's an awesome time to be in the hobby. :)

The old days - I remember seeing FX armour on a site (possibly Galaxy Trading or wookie cantina???) and thinking it looked amazing. Then compared it with movie stills and was devastated :)
 
I think EFX could make a lot of money,if they would sell the armor for a lower price.I think most members in the 501st Legion would buy this awesome Armor.
Massproduction for the Imperial Army!THAT is the right way!:D

Gino you guys are doing an awesome job and the fett helmet and Stormtrooper armor set looks amazing I can't wait to see these go into preorder, I will deff be ordering these.

All I can say is .....

TAKE MY MONEY ;)
