EfX Product Ideas?

I know that Amy sometimes patrols the boards. Does anyone know if they have mined the boards for product suggestions...things people would like to see done.

One item I think would be a natural addition to the prop world and would fit nicely into the saber collecting community, regardless of who manufactured the sabers in question, is a replica of the chest from Obi-wan's hut that he kept Anakin's saber in. Nobody has ever done a piece like this.

The one piece that I am super keen on seeing is a Vader Helmet from ANH.

If EFX could do a dead on replica of this piece. I would pick one up in a heartbeat

But, it doesn't seem like this is on their agenda too soon, and I suppose that if they did do one, it would probably get pretty sanatized.

I'd like to see them do a xwing pilot helmet. and if they did that, then it also gives them a base for a TIE pilot helmet too.

with the Xwing helmets then they can release a whole range.

Yeah, I emailed them and asked about an OT Vader, as well. I would LOVE to get a Vader helmet that actually looks like Vader. A good ANH or ESB helmet would be a dream come true. I'll never understand why MR opted for the ROTS version instead of doing a real Vader. :unsure

I am hoping for all new stuff. And for me that would mean not re-doing things already released. I can get most helmets, same with the Studio Scale models, seems like lots of those around. I do hope the try some new things.
That being said there is a lot already done, which is the issue. I did like the Chewbacca bowcaster idea. Being a EU fan I would love to see some props from Novels as well. Maybe some 1:1 busts of the Jedi counsel members also.

BOUSHH helmet! That's all I want. No one has ever done an accurate version so it's one I'd be very interested in seeing! There are so many Vader's out there and most of them are extremely good. I don't think we need more Vader's, Stormtroopers, Boba Fett's, etc. Let's see something that has NEVER been done....like BOUSHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes! That would be the only reason I'd buy another ROTJ Luke saber.

The problem with SW props is that anything that hasn't been done yet will appeal to too small of a group to be profitable. Most people don't want Bossk's rifle or Lando's ROTJ blaster pistol.
