eFx Collectibles Announce THE AVENGERS Limited Edition Replicas

Man, the badges are going for almost $200 on ebay right now! I missed the EFX deadline and had the chance of picking one of the ebay ones up for $80 and decided to wait. Now I'm kicking myself!!

Still waiting for my Thor Helmet. Was meant to be Q1 2013 lol. I've had 2 emails since i POd it over a year ago. One standard and one replying to one of my 10+ emails to them, both just saying it's delayed. I think EFX customer service is pretty dire given the price of these pieces.

Would be nice if EFX gave an update though since they do have a membership here...

Just got my shipping confirmation email from Bryan for my Hammer!! I can't wait to finally have this in my collection!

Although I'm sure Fedex/Canadian customs will have a field day with duties and taxes before it gets to me. :cry

I'm not even fussed how they update people, email, this forum, their own website, just anything to let us know.

I got a museum replicas Thor hammer and it is shockingly bad, really regret keeping it actually see if this Thor Helmet isn't perfect after such a wait i'm going to go mental.

Sadly the museum replicas one was actually accurate screen accurate for the Thor movie. Mostly anyways. The handle in the film was just like that. Paint. I'm regretting not getting an efx hammer, but haven't had the funds to get one either so guess I can't complain but so much. It looks as though they did very well on the craftsmanship there is no denying that. Efx has always been lacking on their customer service. Sad reality of their company. They turn a good product, but give no intel what so ever.

Yeah, the MR one definitely had issues, but I got it because it was metal so it had a hefty weight to it. I got the eFx one for the pure on screen accuracy so I'll be happy for that purpose. Yes, I'm a nerd for Thor.

I wish EFX would focus on their first Avengers items. We waited over a year for the Thor Hammer. How much longer for the Captain America shield and Iron Man helmet? Give us at least, a close range date within the same year. If Disney can tell us when the next Star Wars movie will be out, which hasn't started filming and we know that's going to be a big production, EFX can at least tell us when a limited amount of replicas should be available for pre-order..

Sorry, if I seem grouchy...but I'm married.

I prefer the Thor movie version to the avengers one, but the quality of the MR piece is abysmal. The lines cut into my hammer are wonky and overlapping and the detailing on the sides has been sanded completely smooth in places. I returned my original and the replacement was just as bad. I kept it because I couldn't not have one but it's left a sour taste in my mouth.

How is the EFX hammer? I really wanted one but couldnt justify spending the money on a second thor hammer, specially as I'd POd the helmet.

Does it have a stand or anything? The MR hammer has a lovely stand so it sits at an nice angle.

I still haven't received an email. I guess the ones they ship will not have the option to be personalized. :facepalm

EDIT: Going with REELFAKES for the ID cards anyways. EFX has permanently lost a customer.

I guess not since I haven't received anything on Mon-Fri either.

Off and on for the past two years, I have called EFX Collectibles phone number a few times just to ask a question or see if the number was still active. And NEVER, EVER, YES, I SAID IT...NEVER...EVER has a live person picked the phone. In the few times that I did email them, I received one reply 6 weeks later, another reply to that follow up email was about 3 weeks after that. Unfortunately, neither email answered my question.
