I don't know if it's been mentioned, but the Alpinestars Supervictory are a rahter close approximation. They lack the - for lack of a better word - kneecaps, but the rest seems to be the real thing.

There was a guy selling a Plissken costume on eBay, but it looks like he made a decent replica of the kneepads! Any leatherworkers on here that can replicate something like this cheaply?!

Won these last night, I prefer them over the Hi-Points. The boot is more slender like the actual ones in the film and these will be easier to customize and I got a great deal on them.

Its amazing how often they use motocross boots in movies. I assume they put new soles on them as they are very difficult to walk in.
I have been wearing mine for years when we get heavy snow and I need to clear the driveway. Keep my feet dry, but its hard to walk.
