The tactical soft shell jacket and the bdu pants tom is wearing. They might be a UK brand that I'm just not finding.

This little guy is the BAIN of my existence right now. The rotary butterfly latch on the front of the chest. Its actually a working flight case like latch so I'm assuming it does exist. I'm finding hundreds that are the right size, but none with this specific shape. I really hope they didn't farm these out to china just for the film, but its possible. I wanted to see if anyone else had any ideas.. Otherwise I'm just going to have to take an existing one and modify it or put a fake face on it. There is a chance it was silver in color and they painted it brass, the reason I say this is there are hardly any of these type latches made in brass. But they do come in brass its just rare. The key feature on this one is the dimple on the wing. Its shaped that way so you can get a finger behind it to flip it up so you can turn the latch. THIS is the one I need help finding.

I seriously doubt they sourced that part out. More than likely if it's hard to find on it's own, it's probably used on some other product and they just stripped it off.
Usually stuff like this shows up elsewhere in the movie. May have to keep a keen eye out for cases and such used in the film to see if you can spot the same latch used somewhere else.
Do you know who built these and where they're located? You might also think about the fact that it could be found locally to where they built them.

It was a group in the UK. So it's probably something only found on that side of the pond. I'm hoping someone here can spot it.

I wasn't able to find a latch either and ended up making it out of thermoplastic.. you want yours to be working, yes?

I found some good shots of the pants. Looks like they have something for an external knee pad to be put in. Also see some webbing on the hips.

There is a MultiCam Black thats new to the market. I know that's what they used on the Dog Soldiers with the skull masks. They were all black compared to Tom's more grey setup. His looks like multicam that was dyed darker. I think for now I'm going to go for the dog soldier blacked out look.

Ok the mech suit is pretty much done, all I have left is the back pack plate, hydraulic pack, and the rocket launcher no need to model the other rifle because its a found part.

So many PARTS!!! Makes my head hurt... Ok got the hydraulic pack built out.

Just going to use some latex hoses so no need to model all that. I will have to model the little adapters on the hydraulic cylinders but Those will probably be build later so i need the actual scale of the pipe I'm going to use before I build those out.

One day i will try building a jacket... been doing a heap of fully 3d printed props/costumes recently so that feels like it might be doable.
