Hi mate. How we lookin on these? That photo you posted was a mouth wetter. Im having trouble sleeping now :confused

Re: Echo Station 57, we're on our way....slowly

Cheers Jamie. Really glad the final pictures have gone down well.

I'm making one kit up to be sent over to the States where a colleague has agreed to help me size up the decals. I've also got to make up the instructions sheet PDF, which I'll do once the kit is sent off.

After that I will contact the first 5 or so folks on my list and start the ball rolling. The main issue for me will be the pure time it takes to make up all the parts. Especially the hulls and airbrake boxes which require epoxy gel coating and reinforcement, which takes 24hrs to cure.

I'm finalising the cost over the course of the above work.

Stay tuned....

Re: Echo Station 57, we're on our way....slowly

You know what Nick, after the time, patience and effort you have personally put fourth and infused into this piece (an absolute ****ing work of art I will add) I'm just tickled that it has finally come to a fruition of its own in a manner ILM would make themselves sick over.

You, Neisen, Richard,Arizaga,Loes,Caro,Curilla,Eaton,Cerney, Moslund, BLOW me the **** out of the water every time you do/offer something directly or indirectly. You guys are the reason this hobby exists and has done so for the past 10+years and beyond. It's inspiration and opportunity at its finest for a limited amount of enthusiasts to partake and enjoy.

I LOVE IT, and I'm not an Empire guy, yet I always loved the speeder and you brought it to life and did it 110% justice.

I've held you're build in the highest regards amongst MY peers for as long as you've been working on it mate. (yea I can say mate, I'm a Britt after all... ) And I have the ****ing passport to prove it. :confused:lol

Anyway you've single handed many of us our arses with this one. Cheers and I'd love to buy you a pint some day in person and have a laugh over the BS somtimes involved within this hobby. Not that I care but I've always been made out to be "a rotten SOB" for keeping to myself. :) And I'm ok with that.

Ultimatly you deserve a major hug and pat on the back. You did it man!

I've personally had a totally crap year. ATF agents crawling up my arse, my wife is in the hospital as I type with a damaged liver, and I'm taking leave of work to take care of my son etc etc, doesn't matter. You're work put a huge smile on my face where I didn't think I could feel happy about something. Which you have, and I love ya for it.

I pray I can still get you a payment for one when the time is due.

Out bloody standing Nick.:)

I gotta agree that is one seriously outsatanding piece of work. I don't know the history of the other guys but theyre right. It really is 'Outstanding!'. I knew it was an excellent build but when I sore that picture with that baby in your lap I realised this was definately something special. I am so glad I got my name on your list mate.
